Last
born of the group, this young 185 hectares plantation was set up in 1999
and numbers 4 000 trees on 12 hectares. The planting program for the whole
estate will spread over five years. This olive grove enjoys biological farming
from the very beginning.
Located at the foot of the Atlas mountains, in the province of Tadla, this
120 hectares estate has been planted in 1960. It has 14 000 trees and produces
800 to 1200 tons of olives year in and year out. It thrives from a dry and
sunny climate.
The
entire production of Moroccan Picholine is destined to table olive. Since this
olive grove is adjacent to our processing unit, the fruit is treated within
an hour of its picking. This estate, object of great care, is presently being
converted to biological production.
A
green paradise also at the foot of the Atlas, it is a peaceful heaven two steps
from Marrakech. The know-how acquired during thirty years at RANCH KAMALIA was
very helpful in setting up this new 6000 trees estate in full production thriving
in the most modern computer-controlled means of farming and drip irrigation.
These
three estates have been programmed to produce 2000 tons of fruit. Each one is
managed by a technician specialized in olive-growing ; their activities are
coordinated by a director. The fruit-picking period runs in September and October.
The fruits are hand-picked and immediately dispatched to our processing factory.
